Drill press clamp bottom
thingiverse
The drill press lacks clamps at the bottom to hold things, but someone had already made one here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/clamp-for-drill-press-garras-para-mesa-de-taladro However, in that design, the bottom part is really flimsy, and when I tried to tighten the screws to lock down the clamps, first, the bottom part is too tall, so that when the screw is fully sunk into the top, it would not grip the base of the drill press, and consequently the clamp wouldn't hold its position. Second, the bottom part of the clamp that goes into the groove is pretty small, such that when you screw the top part of the clamp into the bottom, the bottom would rotate, and you'd have to hold it with your hand for it to properly tighten... this was kinda silly. To fix both of those problems, this new clamp bottom is a tiny bit shorter, and the part that goes into the groove is longer, so that you can screw the clamp in without the bottom part turning.
