Drill Master Carriage
thingiverse
This mounting carriage is specifically designed to attach the Drill Master rotary tool to a 3D X-axis, transforming it into a CNC milling machine. I built this carriage as a direct replacement for my original 3D Print head carriage, utilizing identical hardware to ensure seamless integration. The ends of the belt were secured with tie wraps on either side, providing a sturdy connection. Next, the power cord was carefully threaded through the hole in the smaller part from below, guiding the tool's butt end upwards. Finally, the drill's tool end was seated into the carriage and securely fastened with 4 M3 20mm screws, along with corresponding nuts, to create a robust assembly.
