Drill Holder
thingiverse
I was looking for a hand tool that didn't require me to use power tools, so I turned to [Rasle500](https://www.thingiverse.com/Rasle500) and [aubenc](https://www.thingiverse.com/aubenc/about) for inspiration, along with [thing:16682](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16682) and [thing:16839](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16839). However, the models I found didn't quite fit my needs in their current form - they were too bulky for me to work with comfortably. Another issue was that the collets tended to get stuck after being tightened down. I decided to design a completely new holder from scratch, one that would only be compatible with the collets. The result is a sleeker, more streamlined design that measures 32mm in diameter and 96mm in length. It also features an ejector mechanism that allows you to easily release tightly fitted collets with just a light tap. As always, the printed thread requires a few passes to smooth out the unevenness caused by the printing process. To achieve the best results, I recommend using the following settings: * Material: PLA * Resolution: 0.2mm * Wall thickness: 1.2mm * Infill: 50% * Support: no * Adhesion: Brim I highly recommend pairing this drill holder with [Box for Drill Holder and Collets](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4209929) by [Syntaxcuemi](https://www.thingiverse.com/Syntaxcuemi/about), which is a fantastic addition to my setup.
