Drill guide
thingiverse
I wanted a guide I could fit to the ruler of a set square. It has points build into the shape that align with the exact position of the drill holes. I used brass inserts so you can fix the position on the ruler as well as brass inserts to hold the two halves together. The 4 brass inserts in the corners have been drilled out so they have no thread in the centre and take a 3mm drill when using the tool. This tool is ideal when you want a set of holes along the edge of a piece of work and they need to be exactly in line. Just slide the set square down the edge and drill through the brass and this produces a perfect straight line of drill holes. I printed it in pink so I would not lose it!
