Drill Chuck Holder
thingiverse
This attachment secures directly onto the pillar of a drill press, keeping a Morse Taper 2 Drill chuck firmly in place. It also features a pre-drilled hole that can be tapped to accommodate either an M4 or M5 screw, which allows for easy removal of the chuck from the spindle by hooking a drift onto it. This thoughtful design provides a convenient storage solution when using a Morse Taper 2 drill bit, keeping the chuck and drift organized and out of the way. To secure this attachment to the pillar, either a large cable tie or pipe clamp can be used, as it was specifically designed for use with a Ryobi Drill Press featuring a 70mm diameter column. It's likely that many other drills will have similarly sized columns, making this attachment a versatile addition to any drill press setup.
