drill bit sharpening guide

I crafted this after watching a YouTube video on sharpening drill bits by hand, and it definitely improved my accuracy. This tool would work great on a bench grinder and is specifically designed for that use. I don't have one at home, however, so I used it as shown on a disc sander and had a fun-filled few hours sharpening all of my old drill bits. I tested them on wood, aluminum, and steel tube, and they worked great! I built this for general-purpose use and aimed for an 11-degree angle. To use: -If you're not familiar with drill bit sharpening, educate yourself somehow so that you know what you're doing and how to do it safely. Don't hurt yourself; it's probably hazardous, so proceed at your own risk. -The guide bottom should sit at a 90-degree angle, and the face should be parallel to the grinding surface. -Insert the bit as shown to grind a cutting edge that is symmetrical on both sides. -I simply freehand the second grind of the relief angle since it doesn't need to be precise.
