Drill bit holder tap holder
thingiverse
Instead of using a 3D printer to dial in hole sizes, drill and tap your holes directly to the final size. The holder can accommodate drill bits ranging from 1/16" to 1/2". You may need to tighten the bolt with an Allen wrench until you hear the layers start to separate. You can use this tool to drill through soft materials like plastic, but its primary function is to enlarge 3D printed holes to their intended size. Printing this holder took approximately two hours using a 0.8mm nozzle and 0.4mm layer height. This design is only worth printing if you have the following components on hand: M4 nut At least one M4 bolt that is at least 30 mm long A short screw for the slider piece A drill bit set or tap set
