Drill Bit Holder...Holder
thingiverse
This is my first design that's been 3D printed and also my first Thingiverse upload. I wanted to create something simple yet useful, so I made a holder for my drill bits. These rubber holders come with the bits and have become essential to keeping them organized on my worktable. Since I had five of these holders and was waiting for a sixth, I thought it would be great to design an organizer that could easily fit all of them. I observed that the rubber bit holders don't vary much in their design, so I made the space to hold them 10mm x 85mm. This size should accommodate most holders, but double-check your measurements before printing. They should fit fairly tight, and one of mine was a bit loose, so I bent it slightly to create some tension against the walls and it stayed in place. Make sure you flip this design 90 degrees when printing, as it needs to be oriented like it would be used. I'm not familiar with editing how STL files are oriented, but if someone knows, they can tell me how to make the change.
