Drill Bit Ball Screw Concept

Drill Bit Ball Screw Concept

thingiverse

This work-in-progress conceptualizes a ball screw utilizing a drill bit as the screw and roller bearings for support. The materials required include two printed bearing holders, four roller bearings, various screws and nuts, and a drill bit with dual threads. To assemble, mount bearings in holders, fit screws with washers and nuts, and join the "ballscrew nut" parts before inserting the drill bit within it. The bearings should fit between the threads, and the secondary nuts on screws can be used to apply pressure while ensuring the nut runs freely when the drill is vertical.
