This drill jig for making precise holes is a game-changer for woodworkers. Its unique design allows for centered holes on board edges or perpendicular and straight holes on the face of a board, perfect for dowel joints. Drill jigs and doweling guides offer an alternative to dominos or biscuits and can greatly enhance the strength of various wood joints. I created this tool using Fusion360 software and printed it on my Monoprice Mini Select 3D printer. The jig is designed to accommodate boards up to 2 inches thick, making it a versatile addition to any woodworking project. Removable inserts made from durable materials like 3/4" hex stock can be used in place of the currently 3D printed ones for added longevity. The jig's design allows easy use with drill bits up to 3/8" in diameter, ensuring precise drilling every time. The included files feature a variety of inserts designed for specific drill bit sizes: * Drill Jig Body: A green part serving as the insert holder * Insert-1-8: A 1/8" drill bit insert * Insert-3-16: A 3/16" drill bit insert * Insert-1-4: A 1/4" drill bit insert * Insert-5-16: A 5/16" drill bit insert * Insert-3-8: A 3/8" drill bit insert
