Look no further -- here is a 98mm OD two-piece wheel that fits a wide range of cars, instantly turning your sled into a drift machine. The center section (wheel rim) should be printed from ABS, nylon, or even better a carbon-fiber polycarbonate which is what I use. You can try PLA or PETG but it will likely break pretty fast. Go with the strong stuff. You can print the whole wheel at 50% infill using triangle pattern for max isotropic strength. However, for a more advanced approach, I've also included the wheel and hub drive as separate parts. You can use your slicer to place the hub in the correct location (9.6mm of backspacing) and then print the hub at 50% and the rest of the wheel at 15% or 20% which is more than enough. Cuts down the weight and print time, but not totally necessary. Alternatively, you can place the Infill Zone part in the center (overlapping with the full wheel model) and use that mask to increase the infill to 100%. This is the approach I've used most recently and it works great. You may need to clean up the hex drive or through bore a bit with sandpaper or a hobby knife to get the wheel to go on the first time, but you want that interface to be snug and not move around at all. The tire is printed in TPU. I'd suggest 3-4 walls as the tires can heat up pretty good after about 5-10 mins of driving. Thinner walls will melt easier, and depending on the power of your car this can happen. Luckily, you can just print another tire! Go with a light infill of 12-15%, better to keep it a bit compliant. Installing the tires requires a bit of force. Just go slow and work the tire over. You want the fit to be snug so it doesn't move around on the rim of the wheel. However, if the fit just won't work, trying printing the tire at 100.5% or 101%. That's about it. I may upload some different tire heights, and there is a larger wheel/tire combo but the print time is long enough on the 98mm and the performance is really great. Enjoy!
