Drifloon

Drifloon

This is the last of the designs for Halloween that I made. I wanted to make a couple of Drifloons to hang around my porch this year and found that I didn't like what models were available. I wanted to maximize the size of my print and get it as close to life sized as I could. Drifloon comes in pieces for assembling. I printed the main balloon portion upside down after having trouble getting such a large print to work out right side up. Because I intend to hang these, I wanted them to be a light as possible, so they are 3% infill. You will need supports and I do recommend a raft as well due to the length of print time. I printed mine at 133% scale. The eyes and mouth are both inset and meant to stick out just a bit from the model once fitted in place. The hair needs supports and I used a raft as well. There is a hole on each side running through to attach paracord for the arms and the heart hands. Glue everything in place and you are done. I think this little guy turned out very cute and his twin brother will be great when he finishes printing. I do not own Pokemon and I will never charge for a model. If you would like to support me and my ongoing quest to become better at designing and creating, please feel free to buy me a coffee. https://www.buymeacoffee.com/Mimette
