Dressmaker's ruler 1M
thingiverse
I'm creating my own large dressmaker's ruler to make sewing easier. In stores, they're ridiculously expensive - around $20-$30 for a flimsy plastic ruler. So, I decided to design and build one myself. To create the pieces that fit together like a puzzle, I used a 220x220 print bead. The individual components are designed to snap into place, holding everything securely in position. To attach the ABS parts, I employed Dichloromethane (CH2Cl2), which dissolves the material and makes it rigid again. For PLA, super glue should work just as well.
