Dresser wire shelving hook

Dresser wire shelving hook

thingiverse

We have a wire shelving unit installed inside our dresser, and most hooks are simply mounted with threads, which looks unappealing. I just acquired my ENDER 5 Pro, so my wife doesn't mind me printing random items. Being a considerate husband with a brand-new silent printer, I created this part from scratch to allow her to load more clothes on our dresser without worrying about it collapsing. Printed in PETG for some flexibility at a 50% infill, but you can print it using your preferred non-flexible material like PLA, ABS, etc., and probably higher infill as well. The hook does not snugly fit the 8mm rod it's supposed to carry, but there will be a "locking" effect using the screw head to apply some resistance when the whole rack is bumped up. Printed in low resolution of .2 since high-quality aesthetics aren't necessary.
