Dremel Vertical Guide
thingiverse
This is a comprehensive guide I created specifically for use with my custom vertical support (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2770736) or as a standalone guide. The design is based heavily on Dremel's own A576 Sanding/Grinding Guide, but I made significant modifications to suit my needs, resulting in a slightly larger and more user-friendly model. While Dremel's original guide has some notable advantages, such as its height adapter, it may not be necessary if you already have that particular attachment. The main benefit of this custom guide is its compatibility with the Detailer's Grip Attachment 577, which served as the foundation for my vertical support design. Regarding my print, I opted to create a two-part model due to some uncertainty about the threading process. Thankfully, it worked out in the end, but not before some minor redesigns were necessary to improve printability. The upper part features additional supports, which should be more than sufficient even for intricate prints. This design should accommodate various materials without issues. One potential drawback of my 45-degree guide section is that it may experience deformation during printing. To avoid this issue, I recommend adjusting your print settings accordingly. I'm planning to create more threaded Dremel attachments in the future, so any feedback on the threading process would be greatly appreciated from fellow users.
