Dremel Vertical Guide
youmagine
This guide is designed for use with my vertical support (https://www.youmagine.com/designs/vertical-support-for-dremel-tool) or as a standard guide. I based this guide on Dremel's own A576 Sanding/Grinding Guide, but adapted it to fit my needs, making it slightly larger and easier to manipulate pieces. I still believe Dremel's guide is superior due to its height adapter. If you have that one, you likely won't need this one. The unique feature of this design is compatibility with the Detailer's Grip Attachment 577, which I used as a base for my vertical support. Regarding my print, I divided it into two parts because I was unsure if the thread would work initially. Fortunately, it did, although it required some redesign to make it less tight and easier to print. The upper part has more supports than necessary, but this is intended for a smooth print in any material. Be aware that the 45º guide may require adjustments due to potential deformation. I plan to create additional threaded Dremel attachments as I see the need, so your feedback on how the thread performs would be greatly appreciated. The base can be secured to a table using nails or screws, but I recommend using clamps and avoiding damaging your workstation. The two pieces can be held together with screws or glue, or printed as one piece with extensive support. I intend to add a small worktable for horizontal piece holding, utilizing the pill-shaped holes, or design a custom cap that is longer and larger. For now, this guide works as intended, and I hope it proves useful for you.
