Dremel Tool Mount For Craftsman Portable Drill Press

I have an old Craftsman portable drill press which was designed to hold a corded drill. I have seen various drill press ideas for Dremel tools, but I realized I could get a better result, and do so much more easily, by printing an adapter for this existing, well-built drill press. The big challenge was to get the Dremel tool perfectly vertical. The part of the drill press which holds the drill is designed with a very irregular pattern rather than a flat surface in order to adapt to many different power drill sizes and shapes. To mesh with this irregular surface and to get the drill vertical, I designed the part in Fusion 360 with "shims" that end up as an integral part of the final part, but which are modeled separately so they can be resized to get the exact fit required. I have included the Fusion 360 model so you can make your own adjustments.
