Dremel Tool Holder

Dremel Tool Holder

thingiverse

I was determined to fuse my prints with my Dremel, but I lacked a holder that could grip 1.75mm filament securely, so I engineered one from scratch. This custom-made tool holder allows you to grasp a piece of filament tightly and clamp it firmly into the Dremel, generating sufficient pressure when you apply friction to your prints to melt them together. I discovered this clever technique by stumbling upon an innovative tutorial here: http://hackaday.com/2014/12/30/3d-printing-technique-friction-welding/ Print Settings Printer: Afinibot / Tekbot Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 100%
