This is a remake of this handy little attachment: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2468739 I just closed off the outer end and made a cap for the inside end to keep the sandpaper strips from flying out. I use this for very fine sandpaper to buff PLA. This works MUCH better if you cut all the strips exactly the same size. There are two types of "jig" for cutting and folding the strips to the exact length: one small simple one and a larger one that will do all the measuring for you. I apply tape to the back of the very fine sheets before I cut them, to make them more rigid when spinning at high speeds. Update: I added Jig3 (reworked it as it was too dependent on hardware). I based this on sheets of 3M that are about 95mm wide. To use this jig: 1. Push the sandpaper in until it hits the stop, push down on the press to hold it and run your exacto knife in the groove to cut a 17mm wide strip. 2. Next, push the small strip into the narrow slot until flush, push down on the press and cut the strip into even thirds (two cuts needed). 3. Lastly, use the angled groove to bend the small strips the correct amount. I just used a spring I had on hand (7x50mm and cut off two 14mm pieces). You don't want it to be too strong or it may break the caps or stud threading. You could even just put in a piece of sponge if you don't have a spring. Some light sanding may be needed on the studs and the back side of the press to ensure it moves smoothly. I added Jig2. This jig lets you measure and mark the right width and length of the pieces of sandpaper, and to make the fold. I based this on sheets of 3M that are about 300mm long.
