Dremel Rotary 3000 Nose Caps (tapered and with grip)
thingiverse
The Dremel rotary holds a special place in my heart as my go-to tool of all time. However, I recently lost the cap and refused to shell out $9 for a replacement, so I decided to put my Solidworks skills to the test. Everything fits like a glove on my trusty 3000 series Dremel. Room for Improvement: The start of the thread could benefit from a tapered design, but I'm still learning the ins and outs of various tools and techniques. Despite this, it fits perfectly in place. Enjoy! Update: While browsing through online forums, I stumbled upon a nose cap that doubles as a grip, allowing you to hold the Dremel like a pencil. I took this concept on board and created a revised design with a revolved cut and smoothed-out edges. Both Solidworks files are included for your reference.
