Dremel printer filament spool and winder kit for 3D20 3D40

The Dremel brand printers rely exclusively on proprietary size filament spools. This printable spool enables you to seamlessly transfer aftermarket filament for use within the Dremel 3D20 and 3D40 printers. Its center spindle measures a diameter of 20mm. This spool is marginally smaller than the standard Dremel OEM spool due to the 5.9-inch size constraint imposed by the 3D20 printer's printing limitations. The flat, rectangular shape allows it to be easily printed on a Dremel printer. Make sure to activate Custom slicer settings mode and alter the Build Plate Adhesion to None so that the printer can utilize the maximum space available on the build plate. This design consists of two interconnected parts that employ minimal support and can either be bonded or attached with adhesive tape. It can efficiently hold 0.5 kg of filament, mirroring the OEM amount specified by Dremel. I have also created a two-part filament winding spindle compatible with this spool as well as the standard Dremel OEM spool. Simply use a drill and pencil on the ends to swiftly transfer the filament from one spool to another. This version is specifically designed for use with the 3D20 and 3D40 printers, but it may not function optimally with the 3D45 model due to its larger center hole, which can lead to wobble and jams.
