Dremel Nuts BSF 3/4
thingiverse
I was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of threads I discovered in some projects using Dremel attachments. Consequently, I studied the specifications of BSF 3/4 inch threads and designed a brand new nut from scratch. This custom nut now serves as a standard component for my own Dremel attachments. Additionally, it perfectly complements my Bosch GRO, ensuring seamless integration. The cylindrical space on one side of the nut is carefully positioned to serve as the top (facing towards the machine) in any given project, allowing for maximum thread engagement. I created two distinct outer shapes - a 22 mm diameter and a 22 mm hex nut design. You can choose either shape depending on your specific project requirements. Stay tuned for upcoming attachments that utilize this innovative threading system. I printed these custom parts using PLA with precision settings: 0.2 mm layer thickness at 100 mm/S linear advance on my Prusa i3 MK2, and a more optimal 0.15 mm setting on my Prusa i3 MK3. The results were remarkably excellent in both instances.
