To drill a hole in a bottle cap when you lack a suitable drill bit but possess a Dremel with a 561 Multipurpose bit, this offset jig makes it easier to obtain a roughly circular hole. The Fusion 360 file's sketch dimensions can be adjusted to accommodate varying bottle cap diameters and desired hole sizes. The Dremel collar is threaded with 12 turns per inch (TPI) of UN thread, equating to three-quarters of an inch in diameter. Update: the F3D file has been refined to better handle parameterization. To use this jig, begin by positioning the bit at a slight angle to the cap's top to create an access hole without needing the jig. Next, attach the jig to the Dremel collar and place the bit within the jig's hole. Then, using the outer ring as a reference point, slowly rotate the bottle cap around while keeping both hands engaged for better control.
