Dremel holder
thingiverse
I crafted a cradle specifically designed to securely position my trusty Dremel 4000 within the versatile vises that can be purchased from Lidl. With this convenient setup, I am now free to work with my Dremel entirely hands-free, effortlessly rotating it in any direction I desire. Guidelines for assembly and use: To produce this customized cradle, I utilized a high-performance Ultimaker 3D-printer. I programmed the printer to deliver layer thicknesses of 0.2 millimeters, an external shell reinforcement of 1.6 millimeters, forty percent infill density, and support material strategically placed throughout. Upon completion, a minor adjustment was necessary - the small square at the bottom required careful filing to ensure a precise fit within the vise jaws. A durable m4 bolt serves as the pivot hinge, while an m5 fastener coupled with a sturdy washer and wingnut enables seamless closure of the cradle mechanism.
