Dremel Holder
thingiverse
Fit this accessory around a Dremel flex shaft and insert it into a standard Wades X carriage (replaceable with Budaschnozzle). This is a work in progress that may be subject to changes. Watch the holder in action here and view the initial successful print, which needs optimizations on software, calibration, and finer Dremel bit for perfection. The purpose of this design is to link a Dremel Flex shaft (Amazon link) with a standard X carriage. To use it, print the part, insert two or four M5 nuts into the nut traps inside, remove the plastic "nut" from the flex shaft end, insert the shaft into the printed parts, put the entire item in the X carriage, tighten M5 bolts to grip the shaft, and reattach the nut. Then, screw it into the X carriage and enjoy milling at very slow speeds. Feel free to modify the original Alibre design as per your preference!
