Dremel Flexi Extension Sanding Table
thingiverse
With my Ozito Rotary tool (like Dremel) I was supplied with a Flexi attachment, table clamp and a rod used to suspend the tool when used with the Flexi attachment. Even with this it was still challenging to be precise when sanding small parts. So I designed and printed this Sanding table so I could fix the Flexi attachment to the table and make the job of sanding much easier. The Sanding table is designed in 2 parts for easy assembly and also for easy printing. There's only one area that requires support in the bSandingTable2/3. The clamp can be printed without support. Once printed, assemble the Clamp and Table 2 or 3 as needed and glue them in place with superglue. bSandingTable2 comes with a hole and plastic rivet/rod for fixing after assembly. bSandingTable3 comes with a hole through which you can fix a screw after assembly for added support. The clamp already has a nut to receive this screw, but I found that it's not necessary so use only if needed. Once stuck, the complete unit just slides into the slots in the clamp and is then tightened to the table. The Flexi attachment is then inserted and tightened in place with a small screw/nut as shown. Refer to the images for assembly. If you have one of these clamps, this thing is designed specifically to fit it. Print Settings Printer: Geeetech Full Metal Aluminum Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Notes: Supports needed only for the bSandingTable. I used Sketchup and a Vernier to design this to fit the clamp.
