Dremel Drill Press

Dremel Drill Press

Designed and built this to drill PCBs. It uses Inch hardware, as that's what we can get here. It's parts consist of 3/8-16 bolts and all thread, a pile of 3/8-16 nuts, 7/16 rod, 1/4-20 heat set inserts, 1/4-20 screws, 80lb fishing line for the drive. The top and bottom pieces are the same. Uses a 3/16 roll pin as a tie point for the fishing line. The head part requires 3 3/8 nuts to be pushed in the hex holes to work as bearing points for the 3/8 all thread. Lineguide part fits snugly under the all thread in the head, without this to guide and keep the line from fouling I never could put it together. It should keep the fishing line in the thread of the all thread. Handle has 5 nuts in it. 2 to hold 3/8 all thread on center, and 3 inside to backup the 3 bolts that stick out as the handle. Bolts are then tightened down on the all thread. Freecad files are included. To allow you to adjust for fit, or change to metric hardware. Test fit was created using constraints from the other parts of the drawing to adjust sizes for printing. Hopefully it's useful to someone. As stock it fits Dremel MultiPro variable speed.
