Dremel Drill Press Hold Downs
thingiverse
Like everyone else who has a Dremel mini drill press, I scoured far and wide for hold downs that would fit snugly into the little grooves on the bed without any luck whatsoever. In the end, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create these 3D pieces from scratch, which turned out to be a brilliant decision as they work flawlessly. Keep in mind that these are designed for light-duty use - but given the typical nature of Dremel projects, this is more than adequate. To ensure maximum strength, I recommend printing these at 100% infill without fail. When it comes to assembly, I used #10-32 1-inch and half bolts along with matching nuts and a washer for added security. Having created several 3D printed jigs to aid with various Etsy projects, I can confidently attest that these hold downs do the job admirably well - now it's your turn to give them a try.
