Dremel drill press for pcb attachment

Dremel drill press for pcb attachment

This is a custom-made attachment designed specifically for drilling PCBs in compact packages. To use it, simply press down on your Dremel, and it will create a precise hole in the PCB. As soon as you release the pressure, the device will automatically spring back up, preventing any damage to the drill bit. The resulting hole is guaranteed to be perfectly straight. The attachment itself can be 3D printed without any supports needed. However, one critical component - six springs with specific dimensions (5.5mm in diameter and 15mm in length) are required for proper function. I've personally tested this design using a Dremel 3000, but it should also work seamlessly with the Dremel 4000 model. When drilling PCBs, I highly recommend keeping the RPM setting at its lowest possible value to avoid damaging the drill bit.
