Dremel Devil
thingiverse
Introducing the Dremel Devil, a 3D-printed fan launched from your high-speed rotary tool for up to 200 feet flights! Created during late-night lab sessions, this innovative device showcases the fun side of risky tools. Learn more at http://makezine.com/projects/dremel-devil. To build yours, remember that the Dremel Devil design is in inches; adjust your slicer program settings accordingly. Attach the Flying Fan Dremel Adapter to a 1" length of 1/8" metal rod and secure it in your Dremel tool's chuck or collet. Balance pressure when attaching the Dremel Devil to ensure proper release, and heavier fans may not fly as far due to increased weight. For optimum distance, experiment with deceleration techniques like the Dremel tool's brake function.
