Dremel brass trimming jig
thingiverse
A remix of GreaseMonkey88'd excellent design intended to make trimming various cases a bit faster and easier to do the final sizing. So far jigs have been made for 30-06 conversions to a few milsurp calibers and I intend to add more as time goes on/I need others. Inserts are labeled as what they convert, and to what length they cut.I use the Dremel 3000 with an EZ lock mandrel, the wheel is centered in the cutout which places it about 5mm from the edge of the jig. You may need to adjust based on your setup to get cases trimmed to your desired length. In my case... (hehe)... I trim 1mm long then finish with the Lee length gauge trimmer for a perfect trim after re-sizing.NOTE this is for trimming BEFORE sizing/forming the case to new dim's. If you try to trim a re-sized case you'll end up cutting too much because the shoulder will be wrong!(will eventually add "sized case" jigs)
