Dremel box
thingiverse
Hello everyone! Here's my latest creation, a box for using a Dremel inside without making a mess everywhere! I want to emphasize that the hand/brace passageways are 81mm internal because they're tailored to fit my arm size. If you think 81 mm is too small for you, just scale up your model in X and Y (I admit it might affect the hole diameters, but is that really important?). The holes are M4 diameter, and I've also planned the thickness of the plastic box so there's no gap between the two pieces. THIS IS WHY THEY SHOULD BE PRINTED ROUND TOWARDS THE PLATEAU SO THERE'S NO SUPPORT NEEDED. And make sure your holes in the box are at least 85mm in diameter to counteract the warping. For the "corners" and "sides," print them with support, and they're also M4. A slight post-processing is necessary; sand the printed face against the plate to get a smooth finish.
