Dremel Box from IKEA Samla

Dremel Box from IKEA Samla

I've been inspired by the Dremel box from @Wox at Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2836453). The design is solid, but I wanted something slightly different, so I started from scratch. The opening for hands measures 100mm in diameter and features M5 bolts. A hole of at least 106mm diameter must be drilled into the box. The inner part is designed for threading with a thread tap, though this can be altered within the Fusion 360 file or by using a drill and an M5 nut. The box wall thickness has been calculated to be 1.5mm. If you have a box with flat walls, only the Extern and Intern parts are required. However, if you plan to use an IKEA Samla box, which has non-flat walls, you'll also need the adapter. This can serve as a template for the holes. The adapter must be cut into two pieces and glued onto both the Extern and Intern parts to compensate for the discrepancy. If there's too much space between the two parts, causing gloves to slip away, a layer of hot glue on the Intern part can help secure them in place. EDIT v3: The hole sizes have been corrected. Additionally, a threaded part is now included, ready for printing.
