Dremel Ball sanding bit
thingiverse
This DIY Ball Sander is perfect for sanding concave items. I'm using my Dremel and made it from a design I found that needed some tweaks with Tinkercad. If you think this design belongs to you, let me know and I'll add your name as the original creator. The ball template I used comes from http://www.davidreedsmith.com/articles/foamballsander/foamballsander.htm, where I could easily edit it in Paint.net to suit my needs. Next, I uploaded it to selva3d.com for STL conversion. To build this DIY Ball Sander, you'll need a Dremel and the following parts: * 1x m3x20mm bolt * 2x m3 nut * KrazyGlue * Velcro pads I printed this in PETG, but I did encounter some issues: The hole for the bolt is a bit too small, so it took some effort to screw it through. Additionally, I could have added more depth to the ball. One last thing - I made an error with the flower size; it's smaller than expected and needs to be enlarged.
