I relocated the screw hole so that when I tightened it, the inner nut would lock into place on two sides instead of one. This ensured it wouldn't rock, but stay firmly locked in position. Additionally, I increased the contact area between the inner nut and the outer base for enhanced stability. I utilized the same inner nut from the original "Height Adjustable Router Attachment for Rotary Tool" designed by Heron. Note that you might need to smooth out one of its corners slightly to accommodate it properly and provide a flat surface for the screw. For this base, I applied 0 horizontal size compensation. For the nut, depending on your 3D printer, you can use -0.10 to -0.20mm. It's better to err on the side of caution and make it slightly larger, then sand it down if needed. Good luck! I've just tested this design and I'm thrilled to report that IT WORKS flawlessly! The precision is spot-on, with zero wobble whatsoever. In fact, it outperforms the original Dremel plunge base (which is notoriously unstable) in every aspect.
