The spare Dremel 8200 battery is reported to be compatible with Bosch 10.8V/12V systems and can even be used with an AC-DC connector instead of a battery. To build the case, you'll need three parts of the Dremel-8200 battery box, three Li-ion 18650 accumulators, a 5 kOhm NTC thermistor (for overheat sensing), a 1 kOhm resistor (for charger notification), a small PCB part, tin-plate, wires, and screws. You can also create a simple AC-DC adapter for using your Dremel from an AC outlet or external batteries. For this, use the 5 kOhm resistor instead of the thermistor (to trick the speed controller), add a big electrolytic capacitor, a rectifier, and drill a hole for a low voltage cord/contacts.
