The design of the bench mount was divided into two sections mainly because it exceeded the printing capacity of my PrintrBot Play. However, this separation also allowed me to circumvent the need for printing supports by orienting the parts vertically during production. Once printed, these components can be securely bonded together. To complete the assembly, an adapter is required to replace the threaded cover, designed by Nikolai Zoller at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1232949. Initially, I planned to integrate this adapter into my project but soon realized that threading the Dremel onto the mount would be impractically challenging. Instead, I opted for a more straightforward approach where the adapter is threaded directly onto the Dremel and the tool then smoothly slides into the receptacle within the mount. For added stability, screw holes have been incorporated to allow for secure fastening of the mount to a bench or a board. Additionally, a slot has been designed in the base to accommodate either a hook-and-loop strap or zip tie.
