This is an authentic reproduction of the sidecaps from the Dremel 3D Idea Builder.\nYou can now print it and add ventilation or other attachments without damaging the original part.\nI measured everything precisely using a caliper ruler and created the design in 123D Design.\nDownload two files: \nThe "Sidecap_by_Va_Le_01.stl" is the original replica, so you may need to add supports - I haven't tested it.\nThe "Sidecap_by_Va_Le_02.stl" is a modified version that eliminates the need for supports when printing with visible text.\nPrinting Settings\nRafts:\n You can use any setting you like.\n \n Supports: \n Don't worry about this setting either - choose what works best.\n \n Resolution: \n Go for high quality at 0.1mm resolution.\n \n Notes:\n The "Sidecap_by_Va_Le_01.stl" is the original replica, so you may need to add supports - I haven't tested it.\nThe "Sidecap_by_Va_Le_02.stl" is a modified version that eliminates the need for supports when printing with visible text.\nDesign Details\nI meticulously measured out all the details from the original Dremel cap using a caliper ruler and built this replica in 123D Design.
