Dremel 36 Bit Holder Grid.
thingiverse
I've accumulated a plethora of Dremel bits (1/8" shaft) and was desperate to devise a more practical mobile storage system. I discovered a versatile plastic toolbox and printed this ingenious matrix to organize the bits while allowing the remaining tools to fit snugly in the top compartment. Additional magnets will be integrated to secure the bits from tumbling out when the box is inevitably toppled over. Features 36 storage slots for effortless bit organization. A quick reference guide to building the part You will need 50 x 1/8" x 1/4" powerful magnetic clasps (available on eBay for approximately $15) First, print the component according to standard protocols. Then apply adhesive to firmly affix a magnetic clasp within each aperture, taking care not to smother the sides or top of the magnet with an excessive amount of adhesive. Once secure, the bits will simply drop inside and snugly touch the tops of the magnets, locking them safely in place. Optional 2-side mountpoints can be easily connected using pre-drilled holes if a sturdy anchoring solution is desired.
