Dremel 3000 brackets for Openbuilds C-Beam 80 MM plate
thingiverse
These brackets are designed to securely attach a Dremel 3000 to an Openbuilds C-Beam 80 mm plate. You will need four 5mm x 15mm flat head screws, four 5mm x 20mm flat head screws, five 5mm self-locking nuts, and one 40mm long 5mm bolt for the top bracket. Two test print STL files are also included to help you determine how accurately your printer expands or contracts within circles. I discovered that I had to enlarge the 3/4 inch 12 TPI threaded hole by approximately 20% to accommodate my printer's specifications. As a result, the bottom bracket that attaches to the Dremel's nose is designed with this adjustment in mind. Additionally, the 5mm holes are quite tight but still manageable. I printed these brackets at a .3mm layer height and 50% infill setting. It's worth noting that the centerline of my Dremel measures precisely 36mm above the plate, though your measurements may vary. If necessary, you can shim under the brackets to fine-tune the Dremel's leveling.
