Dremel 300 Mount For CNC
thingiverse
A maker shares a DIY project involving a secure mount for the Dremel 300 on instructables. Check out http://www.instructables.com/id/3D-printed-CNC-mill/. The custom-designed mount comes in two separate pieces that bolt to the existing Z-axis anti-backlash nut and then connect to provide enhanced stability. Strategically placed, the two parts fit snugly around the Dremel between the motor's air intake vents, ensuring the device stays cool even after prolonged operation. This durable assembly is printed with PLA and has already proven its effectiveness by powering through over two hours of continuous CNC operation without overheating.
