Drela AG36 Airfoil Micro Drone Propeller (34.95g thrust @3V)
thingiverse
I designed this propeller by utilizing the **Drela AG36** airfoil coordinates. All testing was conducted on the **[Micro Drone Propeller Thrust Tester](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2302071)**, and the results can be seen below. The part was printed slowly with a **[0.2mm nozzle](http://amzn.to/2qQdFvg)** at 0.04mm layer height, then cleaned using an **[X-ACTO Knife](http://amzn.to/2pV1sGA)**. After cleaning, I finished the part by sanding it with a **[400 grit sandpaper](http://amzn.to/2pTNwic)**. Here are the measurements for several voltage presets (you can also view these in the images): - 1.5V results in a weight of 11.53 grams - 2V yields a weight of 20.25 grams - 2.5V produces a weight of 27.7 grams - 3V results in a weight of 34.95 grams The files you'll download include all shots taken during testing, with six text files containing the airfoil coordinates used in construction, printable STL files, and SLDPRT files. If you wish to modify this propeller, grab a couple of **[8520 coreless motors](http://amzn.to/2qPUhi4)**. You can use the SLDPRT files if you want to make your own changes to the propeller. **Note:** The airfoil was plotted using matplotlib in python.
