Drela AG11 Airfoil Micro Drone Propeller (36.28g thrust @ 3V)
thingiverse
I successfully designed this drone propeller using the Drela AG11 airfoil. Testing was conducted on the Drone Propeller Thrust Tester (test results below). This part was printed with a slow setting, utilizing a 0.2 extruder nozzle at 0.04mm layer height. A Precision Knife was used to deburr and clean the print. Following this, I proceeded to sand it with 400 grit sandpaper. Here are the readings for several voltage presets (also visible in the pictures taken): - 1.5V => 13.19 grams - 2V => 21.87 grams - 2.5V => 30.34 grams - 3V => 36.28 grams The included files consist of all shots taken during the test, with six text files containing all airfoil coordinates used in the build, the printable STL files and the SLDPRT files. To utilize the propeller, you will need to acquire a bunch of 8520 coreless motors. You should use the SLDPRT files if you wish to make your own changes to the drone propeller.
