Unlike seers, shadowstalkers are not known to have been exposed to some form of magic or sordalite cluster while in the egg (or chosen by their god as the drekons believe); so there are only hypotheses to base this emergent variation on, with most believing this evolution was born from a need to stay hidden in a society that shunned them.
