A dreidel is the traditional Hanukkah toy used to play a simple yet exciting game. Each participant anxiously awaits their turn spinning the dreidel, hoping for a winning outcome. If it lands on Nun, flat bottom facing up, the player takes no action. However, if it lands on Shin, three points proudly displayed at the top, that player must put in one unit. Landing on Hey reveals a curved design with a small piece on its left side, awarding the player half of the pot. When it lands on Gimel, resembling a high-heeled shoe, that player claims the entire pot for themselves. The game continues until the pot is empty, prompting everyone to ante up once again and start a new round.
