Human: I wanted to build a turntable and started the construction. Quickly, I realized that the old standard motor from the 400th series was too fast, because the parts that were supposed to be filmed on the turntable were spinning much too quickly. So, I took a translation of fast to slow and tried it out. Then another translation and yet another... It shouldn't have been so extensive, but more ideas came along and the project kept growing. If someone wants to rebuild it, don't hesitate to ask me questions. Materials: - PLA from HK - M3 bolts with nut - Alurohr outer diameter 8mm standard from the hardware store - Plastic tube outer diameter 10mm inner 8mm. Cut to length and use as distance ring between gears. - Standard ball bearing 3x with outer diameter 22mm - 3mm carbon rod for turntable switch (or 3mm bolt) - 2x toggle switches for light and motor - Plexiglass 2mm thick - LED strip lighting - Power adapter output 5V with 3x USB output each 2.4A - Brush motor 400th series - Ballpoint pen spring used as stop with a 3mm carbon rod. This way, the gear teeth are always pressed against the drive wheel teeth with gentle pressure and can compensate for small irregularities. - Hot glue - The motor draws 1.3 amps at 5 volts. - Turntable speed: 51 seconds per rotation - Print turntable without gear. Layer thickness 0.2mm, set nozzle to 0.4mm, print with "SPIRALIZE" setting, bottom layer 4 layers - top layer 0 layers. - Gear-01, bearing cross and middle guide for turntable print separately and glue in the middle of the turntable with hot glue. - Bearing cross with bearings and bolt together and bolt. - Gears: Gear-02 - 5x Gear-03 - 2x (this small gear is higher because it protrudes through the bearing plate) Gear-04 - 1x Gear-05 - 1x Gear-06 - 1x Gear-07 - 1x Gear-08 - 1x Assemble with bearing plates 1 to 4. Position from bottom to top 1 to 4. Gear bearing 8mm Alurohr. Motor in installed state on and under bearing plates 2 and 3 glue lightly. Transmission gear between motor and gearbox sits on a cam. The gear distance from the motor can be adjusted. After fine-tuning, glue the cam. Mount-01 and -02 together with hot glue and screw to gearbox with 3mm bolt. Determine the pivot point of the mount in the base plate (wood) empirically. The same applies to the stop with the ballpoint pen spring. Cut Plexiglass sheets according to base and lid frame and glue in. Cut corner strips to length and apply from outside to Plexiglas. The turntable switch for right- and left-hand operation is really old-school. The electricity also adapts entirely individually to the inventory of each and their ideas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0I65oFRLPGA
