dredge basket
thingiverse
This is a versatile dredging basket perfect for coating or seasoning raw meats. Designed to be printed on an Anet 8, the basket was initially conceived for injection molding but the molds proved too expensive for the average consumer. Measuring 207mm x 207mm x 156mm, the strainer is closely sized and comes with a lid. The second basket fits snugly inside the first but its use is optional. The files are available in STL format; IGS format can be provided if required. Created using CATIA V5 R20, PDF documents detailing part dimensions are included in the download package. I believe 3D printing has immense potential for kitchen applications. It could potentially replace Tupperware and paper plates, significantly reducing landfill waste, especially when combined with responsible recycling practices for printed items. For optimal results, I recommend using high-grade filaments designed for food safety and capable of withstanding washing. Please refrain from placing the item in an automatic dishwasher! If you find this design useful, consider leaving a comment, sharing it, liking it, and, if possible, showing your appreciation through a generous tip.
