When my Dreame T20 Vacuum randomly started to make a very loud noise when using the smart brush attachment, I opened the extension up and realized that the plastic sprocket, that connects the brush itself to the motor with a belt, was split in two. So I recreated the sprocket in Fusion 360 and printed a replacement.Disassembling the oldTo assemble the new sprocket, you first need to completely take apart the brush attachment, I found a perfect video on this right here. The disassembly of the motor and sprocket itself is not shown in the video, for that you only need to pull off the cables of the motor, undo the screw holding the motor down and then pull the whole thing up. This takes a bit force, but obviously needs to be done carefully. When you have the motor and the gear set disassembled, you need to remove the old sprocket. It is fitted very tightly, it probably will not be possible to just pull it up! You will most likely need to completely destroy it to get if off there (mine was split perfectly in half and I still had problems getting it off).Assembling the newThe new one just needs to be press fitted into the shaft, making sure the flat spot on the upper part of the shaft and of the new sprocket match up. I used a wrench to press it all together.
