Introducing e-clips eyewear, a global design for everyone. This durable, lightweight option is ideal for third world nations, boasting complete eye protection and a simple, stylish look. The main frame is just 0.2" thick yet robust enough to withstand bending without snapping. Its unique lens system snaps into place without hardware, minimizing maintenance and production costs. Lenses can be easily removed for cleaning or prescription upgrades. Snap-in arms also require no hardware, featuring a strong hinge built with a 0.11" pivot pin. The e-clips are perfect for children and teens, offering an appealing, mature look that won't be tossed aside. Designed using Solidworks NURBS software, the 3D printable frame system has passed Shapeways.com's initial printability test. Initial production costs are estimated at $20.30 before lens expenses. Note that the hinge mechanism is theoretical and requires prototyping for fit and tolerance testing. Custom logos or etchings can be added for style purposes. Thank you for considering e-clips eyewear!
