Created as my wand in the LARP Windrose https://windroselarp.com/ where I played the teaching assistant for the professor of mind altering magics. Fluff :"The wand is crafted from the tooth of a dream eater grafted onto the living branch of a tree and allowed to fuse over a year and a half before carving." This print contains multiple parts and a medium sized LED light. Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: I3 MK3S Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15 layer Infill: Gyroid ~25% - 10% Filament: various PLA brown, orange transparent, glow in the dark Notes: The handle was printed in brown PLA with the open end on the print surface. the tooth was printed in glow in the dark PLA, set on its side diagonally across the print surface, with the spine opening perpendicular to the print surface . the spine was printed in orange transparent PLA but any colored transparent PLA will work. it was printed in the same orientation as the tooth (important for a good fit). Post-Printing Assembly the spine was glued into the tooth making sure that that the tip is glued in at the tip of the tooth and the surfaces are as flush as possible glue the bottom portion of the led light into the handle. insert the tooth+spine and lock everything in place with the pin. the pin may need to be sanded down a bit if the fit is too tight. the LED light was hard to turn on so I added two small extrusions in transparent orange to glue on with super glue.
